LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors faced off in the latest NBA postseason.
This blockbuster rivalry led to a huge ratings smash and tons of attention.
People wanted to see which of these two legends would come out on top.
In the end, James and his Lakers put the Warriors away.
According to Kendrick Perkins, that result will also be the case in the future.
“Without Kevin Durant on the Warriors, LeBron James basically can beat the Warriors any given time when it comes down to that head-to-head matchup with Steph Curry,” Perkins claimed on Thursday’s First Take.

Perkins said that James has shown he can outsmart and outplay Curry plus make the adjustments to limit the Warriors’ best player.
That is certainly what he did during the latest postseason.
The Lakers’ victory over the Warriors was surprising to many.
It was surprising because the Lakers had the worse season by far and it was also surprising because the Warriors hold such a tremendous track record in the playoffs.
This was the first time they lost to a Western Conference rival in the playoffs during the Steve Kerr era.
While Perkins predicts that James will defeat Curry and his team for the foreseeable future, he may not be considering the addition of Chris Paul.
Like James, Paul is one of the smartest and most experienced men in the league.
Plus, his track record against James is quite impressive too.
James and his Lakers were able to push past the Warriors this time but Golden State could be more daunting next season because of all that a healthy and driven Paul brings to the game.
