On Sunday, the season was on the line for the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors as Stephen Curry and company headed into Game 7 of their first-round playoff series against the Sacramento Kings on the road at the Golden 1 Center.
This series was arguably the most evenly matched in either conference, as it could easily go either way with the Warriors or Kings advancing.
Despite a valiant effort to force a Game 7 with a convincing win over the Warriors in San Francisco at the Chase Center in Game 6, Sacramento couldn’t get the job done on Sunday afternoon on their home floor, with Curry putting on a show for the ages.
Golden State ultimately came out on top in this series, with Curry scoring a playoff career-high 50 points, which also turned out to make NBA history for a Game 7.
ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins, who is as vocal as any pundit out there, took to Twitter to show some love for Curry.
Even a hater like myself have to just sit back and applaud the GREATNESS of Steph Curry!!! God Bless America.

Curry was a man possessed in Game 7, as he showed why he’s considered one of the best guards ever to play the game of basketball.
With Curry leading his team to victory and advancing to the second round due to Sunday’s win, the Warriors will now go up against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers also had an incredible first-round performance, with Anthony Davis and company getting the best of the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies in six games.
The second-round showdown between the Lakers and Warriors will likely be another epic playoff matchup between two teams aspiring to win it all.NEXT: Steph Curry Had A Message For Kings Fans After Game 7 Win
