If the Phoenix Suns are able to return to the NBA Finals this year, Devin Booker will be a major reason why.
Booker has been phenomenal so far during the postseason, consistently scoring more than 30 points and leading his team’s robust offensive plans.
Kendrick Perkins believes Booker is now the best player in the playoffs.
“Devin Booker has been and is the best player in the playoffs. When you talk about getting buckets at a high level, when you talk about dominating a game the way that he’s been doing…I haven’t seen a player have a run offensively and be this efficient ever,” Perkins said on Monday’s First Take.

There are plenty of great players in the postseason, including Jayson Tatum, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, LeBron James, and many others.
But Booker is playing with an efficiency and speed that sets him apart from the rest.
On Sunday night, Booker scored 36 points and 12 assists as his Suns overtook the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 to even the series, 2-2.
This was yet another splendid showing from the young guard, who has been on fire since the playoffs began.
The good news for the Suns is that Booker isn’t the only terrific player on the team.
In fact, Kevin Durant also scored 36 points.
Booker and Durant were so dominant that they were able to push past Nikola Jokic’s historic 53 points.
After every big performance, people claim that Booker will not be able to stay consistent through the rest of the playoffs.
Yet over the last couple of weeks, he hasn’t shown any sign of slowing down, even when his team has faced defeats.
Can he continue to keep it up all the way to the Western Conference Finals and beyond?
