The upcoming NBA season will be a very important one for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fans of the squad remember that the team had a pretty great season last year but ended up fizzling out in the playoffs.
That was their first appearance in the postseason in a few years but it probably won’t be their last.

The team’s star player, Karl-Anthony Towns, is confident in his team – and he’s also confident in himself.
He recently gave himself some very serious praise: “I think I’m one of the best offensive players and talents the NBA has ever seen.”
It’s good that Towns believes in himself because he truly is a wonderful basketball player.
In the months ahead, fans may be hearing a lot more about Towns because of him and his up-and-coming team.
Rise Of The Wolves
The Timberwolves were part of one of the biggest trades of the offseason when they landed Rudy Gobert from the Utah Jazz.
Gobert’s move to the team immediately increased their chances of a strong regular season, as well as a presence in the playoffs.
The team is now going to rely on Towns, Gobert, Anthony Edwards, D’Angelo Russell, and a few more young, talented players.
It has been a very long time since Minnesota has been so promising and competitive.
They are starting the 2022-23 season with their most potential in years.
Of course, Towns will be a central part of any success the team finds because he will remain the lynchpin that holds the squad together.
Over the last few seasons, Towns has averaged more than 24 points a game, as well as nearly double-digit rebounds too.
Does that really make him one of the best offensive players of all time?
It certainly puts him in a special category.
