It might be time that Kai Jones of the Charlotte Hornets takes a break from social media.
Just the other day, Jones caught the attention of many when he criticized his teammates Nick Richards and Mark Williams in the comments section of a recent post.
On Wednesday night, he was at it again.
This time, Jones took aim at LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller.
In a reply to another Twitter user, Jones said that he has had a higher field goal percentage than both of those players “since I came out the womb.”
He then added that none of them can guard him on the court.
These comments will surely turn even more heads.
I’ve had a higher fg% than those guys since I came out the womb and none of them can guard me so know your ball before you talk to the one in here MF 🦋💕🐐🥇🌈 https://t.co/3B6bG4VN5O

It’s not quite clear what is going on with Jones or why he is repeatedly attacking his own teammates.
While he is clearly being egged on a bit by people on social media, he should know better than to take the bait and react.
This could severely compromise his future with the team.
Jones averaged 3.4 points and 2.7 rebounds last season.
That put him toward the bottom of the roster in regards to productivity.
Williams, Richards, and Ball all ranked above him.
As for Miller, he was the second overall draft pick in June and hopes are high for the talented young forward.
There doesn’t seem to be anyone Jones won’t rant against.
It remains to be seen how the Hornets respond to this.
Because Jones isn’t a huge part of the team, they might choose to just handle this in-house and not discuss it publicly.
At the same time, they would also have little problem waiving him for his behavior.
Jones should be expecting a call from his management very soon, either to tell him to stop or to tell him he’s leaving the Hornets.
