Justin Jefferson has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL since he got into the league.
He has been dominant with the Minnesota Vikings and has already broken a lot of leaguewide and team records, despite working with a few different quarterbacks throughout his tenure.
Because of his on-field performances and off-field swagger, Jefferson has quickly become a fan favorite, not just for Vikings fans.
He was slated to give a speech during this year’s NFL Honors ceremony, but experienced a bit of a hitch, as Ari Meirov highlighted on X.
Jefferson started by talking about his teammates and what it means to play in Minnesota but stopped dead in his tracks when the teleprompter stopped working.

He tried to make the most of it, even cracking a few jokes, but it was clear that he was rattled by what happened.
Jefferson plays in front of massive crowds every week in the NFL, but even he was uncomfortable and surprised by this event.
Luckily, the teleprompter outage didn’t last long, and he was able to get back on track shortly after it happened.
Jefferson will be able to put this behind him quickly, as he’ll make up for this moment with plenty of highlight-reel catches in the 2025 season.
The Vikings have some difficult decisions to make over the next few months, mainly with their quarterback position.
Sam Darnold played better than expected this year but with first-rounder J.J. McCarthy waiting in the wings, the Vikings might elect to move on from the veteran, giving Jefferson another new person to throw to him in 2025.
