The Seattle Mariners are certainly looking like a serious threat to chase down the Toronto Blue Jays in the Wild Card race.
They have won three consecutive games and are 7-3 in their last 10.
That stretch has them at just a half-game back of the third and final spot.
They recently took three out of four from the woeful Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
Leading the way was Julio Rodriguez, who was swinging a hot bat.
Yesterday, he had an epic bat spike after a home run.
He also had 12 hits in the series.
According to Sarah Langs, his 12 hits were the most in a series of any length in Mariners history.

Rodriguez was certainly swinging a hot bat against the Royals this week.
He helped carry the team to a huge series win as they continued to chase down the Blue Jays for the third and final AL Wild Card spot.
Seattle owns a record of 66-55 as they head to Minute Maid Park to take on the defending World Series champion Houston Astros, who ousted them in the ALDS last fall.
Rodriguez is now a two-time All-Star after winning Rookie of the Year honors and taking home a Silver Slugger Award last season.
This season has been no exception for the Mariners star.
He owns a .269 average with 20 home runs and 78 RBI.
The young slugger has also stolen 30 bases, has an on-base percentage of .329, a slugging percentage of .451, and an OPS of .780.
Rodriguez put on a show in Kansas City and is now set to lead the red-hot Mariners into Houston.
