The AFC East division looks a lot different than it did five years ago, as there have been some drastic changes to each team within the division, with most of those changes being moves that have these teams headed in the right direction.
However, the New England Patriots are still trying to figure out a way to be successful in the post-Tom Brady era, as they have been unable to get anything going since he left the team in favor of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As if Brady leaving wasn’t bad enough, the competition in the division has only improved each year, with the three other teams being playoff contenders and potential title contenders.
The New York Jets made the most noise throughout the NFL offseason by acquiring superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which has resulted in this team being the most hyped team in the league.
Although many are sold on the prospect of the Jets being a title contender, former Patriots star Julian Edelman isn’t buying it, as he believes they’ll finish last in the division via Peter Schrager of FOX Sports.

As someone who won three Super Bowl titles with the Patriots, it is no surprise that Edelman would take a shot at his former team’s biggest rival while praising New England.
However, there’s no telling what will happen during the 2023 campaign, as New York could go on to be a complete disappointment while the Patriots fly under the radar and make the playoffs.
The NFL can be pretty unpredictable, and it will be interesting to see how things unfold in the AFC East division, with each team expected to get a fair amount of attention.
