Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown recently sparked intrigue with an unexpected social media reveal that caught everyone’s attention.
The Pro Bowl wide receiver teased followers with a video showcasing himself unwrapping a No. 11 Patriots jersey.
The surprise turned out to be personal, as the jersey was signed by Julian Edelman, one of Brown’s childhood favorites from his days as a Patriots fan.
Edelman recently shared a video on Instagram, showing him signing his No. 11 jersey for Brown amid recent rumors of a possible trade to New England.
“Is he trying to put a message out there? He wants to go to the Patriots? [Mike] Vrabel is the old coach there. I don’t know,” Edelman said, via Carlos A. Lopez.

Brown’s NFL journey began with the Tennessee Titans with Vrabel as his head coach.
He made an immediate impact with Tennessee, with 185 receptions, 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns in three seasons.
During the 2022 NFL Draft, the Titans traded Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 18 overall pick.
The move paid immediate dividends for Brown, who received a four-year, $100 million contract from his new team.
While Edelman playfully hinted at Brown potentially eyeing a move to New England, such speculation may be far-fetched given Brown’s contract situation and role in the Eagles’ offense.
For now, the jersey exchange appears to be nothing more than mutual respect between two receivers.
