The World Baseball Classic rolls on.
The action began on Wednesday last week and we have already witnessed some very entertaining moments, such as Kyle Schwarber‘s three-run home run on Saturday night for Team USA.
Joey Meneses also had a very important moment on Sunday, hitting a three-run shot while also performing one of the greatest bat flips of the era.
On Monday, it was Juan Soto‘s turn.
The San Diego Padres star came to the plate with the Dominican Republic leading by a score of 4-0.
On a 2-1 pitch, Soto crushed one out to deep right field at loanDepot Park in Miami to make it a 5-0 game.
On Twitter, the WBC account posted a video of the highlight.

Schwarber stole the show on Saturday and Meneses did the same on Sunday.
But on Monday, it was Soto’s time to shine, and he certainly did not miss this pitch.
Soto is one of many MLB stars that has a very solid swing and power stroke.
On Monday, Soto put that on display.
The Dominican Republic also features stars such as Jeremy Pena, Manny Machado, Rafael Devers, Willy Adames, Eloy Jimenez, Ketel Marte, Wander Franco, and Julio Rodriguez.
On the pitching side, they have Cristian Javier, Sandy Alcantara, Gregory Soto, Johnny Cueto, Diego Castillo, Genesis Cabrera, and others.
And so, it’s easy to see why the Dominican Republic is favored above other teams.
Soto certainly showed why the team cannot be underestimated with this power stroke.
The ball was gone the second it left the bat.
