The Los Angeles Lakers signed veteran JR Smith after Avery Bradley opted out of the NBA Bubble.
Over the course of his 16-year career, Smith has had many stunts with different teams.
Smith played on the New Orleans Hornets, Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and most recently Los Angeles Lakers.
JR was a teammate of LeBron’s in Cleveland when they defeated the Warriors to become champions.
LeBron was the sole reason that JR was brought to Los Angeles.
Smith did not play a big role on this Lakers team, but he was a valuable asset as a locker room guy.
Recently, Smith revealed the only teammate he’s ever had beef with.
JR Smith Discusses Beef With Cleveland Teammate
JR Smith was on the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2014-2019, winning one championship playing a key role as a two way player.
Recently, Smith appeared on the Patrick Peterson and Bryant McFadden’s podcast, All Things Covered.
On the podcast, Smith discusses his career and he gets on the topic of the only teammate he’s ever had beef with.

He revealed that it was Sam Dekker.
Dekker had a brief stunt with Cleveland in 2018.
He only played in 9 games with the Cavaliers.
JR Smith did not get into the exact details in the video, but he did state the following:
“He’s a person who’s very aware of somebody else’s circumstances and wanna keep him there as opposed to trying to help him elevate up, and I don’t respect anything about that.”
I am sure something occurred between these two as JR seems to be speaking from the truth.
Smith is known as a good locker room guy and is a great “cheerleader” on the bench.
Shirtless JR Strikes Again
When the Cleveland Cavaliers came back down 3-1 versus the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, “shirtless JR”, was born.

During the celebration, JR was shirtless.
At the parade, JR was shirtless.
The Cavaliers went to a Cleveland Indians game and once again, JR was shirtless.
As the clock was ticking away in Game 6 of the 2020 NBA Finals, shirtless JR struck once again.

Before the clock even hit zero, JR was shirtless and ready to celebrate in the only way he knows.
Back in the locker room, JR was on Instagram live shirtless, popping bottles celebrating with his teammates after winning the championship.
While Smith saw little to no minutes throughout the bubble, it was obvious he had an effect on this team.
His “vibes” rubbed off on teammates as both Kyle Kuzma and Alex Caruso attended their post-game pressers shirtless.
Say what you want about the 16-year vet, but there is no denying he is a great teammate.
While his future remains up in the air, the one certain is that wherever the Lakers celebrate next, JR will be shirtless.
