The Las Vegas Raiders have found themselves in poor graces with NFL media and fans across the league.
They could not strike a deal with Josh Jacobs, who is coming off a year that he led the league in rushing yards.
The Raiders head coach, Josh McDaniels, has been mostly silent about Jacobs’ situation.
However, he recently had a press conference detailing his current thoughts.
As shared by Vegas Sports Today, McDaniels said, “I respect him [Jacobs] tremendously.”

Further discussing Jacobs, McDaniels said, “I look forward to seeing him whenever he is here.”
McDaniels seemed to believe that this is Jacobs’ decision and that he’ll support him in any aspect.
Recent reports have indicated that Jacobs is not currently in Las Vegas and has taken a plane to another location.
Where that location is, is currently unknown.
Raiders fans have continued to pledge their support to Jacobs, a player they believe gives them a heightened chance to win.
Without Jacobs, the following two players on the RB depth chart are Ameer Abdullah and Zamir White.
White has limited experience in an every-down role, and Abdullah is a career backup.
If Jacobs sits out the entire season, the Raiders might have to rely more heavily on the passing game, especially if they are behind in games.
Although there has been some optimism about what Jimmy Garoppolo can do for this organization, his potential impact hasn’t yet been seen.
There are a lot of unanswered questions about the Raiders, which will hopefully get resolved before the season starts.
