The Green Bay Packers didn’t have one of their best players to close out their Week 11 win against the New York Giants. Even so, Josh Jacobs still managed to make NFL history with elite career stats.
Reaching 100 games, the running back is one of three players to have at least 7,500 rushing yards, 70 rushing touchdowns, 250 receptions, and 2,000 receiving yards.
The others are Emmitt Smith and LaDainian Tomlinson.

You know you’re doing things the right way whenever you’re on the same list as two of the greatest running backs of all time. While his career may not include the same accolades or reputation, it shows that Jacobs might also be on his way to the Hall of Fame.
Jacbos injured his knee in the milestone game. It looked to be a major concern, but it seems that he dodged a lengthy absence.
Further testing proved that there was no structural damage. Moreover, he wasn’t immediately ruled out of their Week 12 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Jacobs is vitally important to his team, but given the way the Vikings have struggled with inconsistency and quarterback play this season, the Packers might not need him to earn this NFC North victory. They have a tougher game against the Detroit Lions in Week 13, and Green Bay may want to make sure he’s back to full strength for that matchup.
