The Green Bay Packers entered the 2025 season with high expectations. They were considered a legitimate Super Bowl contender, and after watching them dominate in the first couple of weeks, they were even talking about an undefeated season.
It’s safe to say that they haven’t lived up to that hype. However, there’s plenty of football to be played, and they have almost everything they need to win the championship.
Before that, the Packers have been given favorable odds to win the NFC North.
Though they currently trail the Chicago Bears, Polymarket gives Green Bay a 43 percent chance to win the division. It is followed closely by the Detroit Lions at 41 percent, then the Bears at 18 percent, and the Minnesota Vikings at 2 percent.
Chance to win the NFC North per @Polymarket:
• Packers: 43%
• Lions: 41%
• Bears: 18%
• Vikings: 2%— GBP Daily – Rob Westerman lll (@GBPdaily) November 18, 2025
The Packers opened up the season with a win over the Lions, and the next couple of weeks will be crucial for their postseason aspirations. They host the Vikings in Week 12 and visit the Lions in Week 13, and a loss in either game could take a toll on their chances to win the division.
Green Bay must take things one game at a time, especially considering how many injuries it has to deal with. But if the defense continues to perform at an elite level and quarterback Jordan Love is given a longer leash, the Packers should continue to be one of the strongest candidates to win the NFC.
