Josh Giddey of the Oklahoma City Thunder is one of the best rookies in the league right now and has consistently proven that OKC made the right choice by drafting him.
Just a few weeks ago, Giddey became the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double at just 19 years and 84 days.
Giddey had a triple-double again Monday night as his Thunder took down the New York Knicks in overtime, 127-123.
Not only did Giddey put up 28 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds – he seemed to have a really fun time doing it as well.

Giddey expressed pure joy after his victory in New York, tweeting out “I love the garden” with a joyful emoji that really summed up his happiness.
The rookie should be having fun because he’s quickly becoming one of the most exciting young players in the entire league.
Giddey Up
During Monday’s game against the Knicks, Giddey set another record when he became the youngest player in NBA history with back-to-back triple-doubles.
He also became the first teenager in league history with a triple-double at Madison Square Garden.
Giddey’s energy and enthusiasm is rubbing off on the rest of his crew too.
The Thunder are full of young players and many people saw that as their downfall.
However, Giddey is infecting them with his play style and dedication.
Head coach Mark Daigneault agrees, telling NBA.com, “I think he has a domino effect on the team with how he plays when he is that state of mind.”
The entire youthful squad follows Giddey’s lead, which results in games like Monday’s when the team came back from an 11-point deficit against the Knicks.
OKC still has a long way to go before they are ready for the NBA Finals but they are putting the building blocks in place for a very powerful team.
A huge part of the team’s future is Giddey and not just because he is creating incredible stat lines but because he is inspiring his team to do the same.
