After an offseason that featured some offensive turnover, there were legitimate questions about the Buffalo Bills’ performance during the 2024 NFL season.
Josh Allen had enjoyed the luxury of throwing to Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, but both wideouts departed last season, leaving Allen to make do with the current roster options.
Despite the downgrade in receiving threats, Allen has transformed the Bills into one of the most dynamic offensive units in the league.
Allen has been impressive as a passer and runner, especially during the 2024 NFL season, when he put up massive numbers.
With Allen playing so well, some consider him the leading candidate to win this year’s MVP award, though Lamar Jackson has also made a strong case.
If Allen were to win the award, he would be in line for a huge bonus via Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Normally, incentives are worth a few hundred thousand depending on the player and accomplishment, but for Allen, that would be a nice payday on top of his contract salary.
Allen has a good chance of hitting that incentive, though, as the on-field production and narrative are in his favor this season.
Allen is a deserving winner, though it remains to be seen if he’ll actually come away with MVP.
