The Buffalo Bills are one team that is consistently in the Super Bowl conversation each year.
But, for whatever reason they come up short of their goal each season.
This year, the Bills got off to a bad start and were 6-6 midway through the season.
But, they ripped off five straight wins to end the year and clinch the number two seed in the conference.
Unfortunately, they ran into the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs and were bounced in the divisional round.
There was a point in time when many people thought the Bills were not a playoff team.
But, they had success because they did not mind what the outsiders said about them.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen recently joined “The Pat McAfee Show” to discuss what turned their season around.
Allen mentioned deleting all social media as a possible contributing factor.
Allen said: “Not to say that was the difference maker but there’s a lot to not caring what people are saying.”

While it may have not played a big role, you could make the argument Allen was more focused over the second half of the year.
He ended up leading the NFL in touchdowns and played his way into being an NFL MVP finalist.
Social media has been seen as a negative for many pro athletes.
Angry fans like to go on there and bash players.
But, it seems like Allen was at his best when he took that distraction out of his life.
