During his time with the Buffalo Bills, Brian Daboll made a name for himself while being the team’s offensive coordinator, which ultimately earned him the opportunity to be a head coach in the NFL.
Ultimately, Daboll chose to take the head coaching job with the New York Giants, which paid off considerably last season when he led the storied franchise to the NFL playoffs and won NFL Coach of the Year honors.
Unfortunately, this season has been brutal for Daboll, as nothing has seemed to go right for him and his squad, with the team struggling to have any success on the field.
Despite his current struggles in New York, Daboll still gets a lot of respect for those he’s been around and helped succeed in the league, like superstar quarterback Josh Allen.
Allen was asked about Daboll, as he is set to play against him this weekend, and what he thinks of his former offensive coordinator via Sunday Night Football on NBC.
All love between former Bills OC Brian Daboll and Josh Allen ahead of SNF. ❤️

Clearly, Allen has nothing but respect for Daboll, as he has left quite a lasting impact on his life, and he gives him a lot of credit for the success they’ve had in Buffalo over the years.
Daboll also had nothing but good things to say about Allen, who admits he’s still very close with while calling him a special player who can basically do anything on the football field at the quarterback position.
Needless to say, Daboll is likely not looking forward to taking on Allen this weekend, with the Giants’ season spiraling out of control and Buffalo wanting to avenge their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.
