The Houston Astros have been one of the most dominant postseason teams over the past decade.
No team has had more success than them.
They are currently playing in their seventh straight ALCS, which is something that many players dream of.
Even though they were caught cheating in 2017, the Astros have still been a force since then.
One player who has played a key role in all of their success is second baseman Jose Altuve.
He is one of the most seasoned playoff vets in MLB.
According to Brian McTaggart, Altuve will play in his 100th career postseason game on Thursday.
Only six players have played in more in their careers.
Jose Altuve will play in his 100th career playoff game today. Only six players have played in more: Jeter (158), Posada (125), Williams (121), Justice (112), Ramirez (111) and Molina (104).

As you can see the list starts with four former Yankees in Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Bernie Williams, and David Justice.
All of the success the Yankees had in the early 2000s brought them many playoff appearances.
The list ends with Manny Ramirez and Yadier Molina, two players who played for a long time and had much success in October.
Altuve is on this list and still has many more years left to go.
He is 33 years old but is coming off another successful regular season.
It does not seem like he or the Astros will be slowing down anytime soon.
Playing in the playoffs is something no one should take for granted.
Even though the playoff field was expanded last year, many great players have little to no experience in the playoffs.
Altuve should continue to add to his postseason games played mark for many years to come.
