When fans run onto the field of play during a sporting event, it always gets the rest of the crowd involved, as they find themselves enjoying a little free entertainment as they watch the fan in question try to evade security.
Last night, a fan in a Craig Biggio jersey ran out onto the field to get a picture with Jose Altuve.
The Houston Astros star gave the fan a hug before getting a picture with him.
After the picture was taken, security intervened and escorted the fan off the field.
MLB insider Danny Vietti managed to get a picture of Altuve hugging the fan.

Altuve Hugs A Fan
Altuve could have tried to tackle the fan, so as to help security get him off the field as quickly as possible.
But he chose a better, more wholesome path.
Instead, he decided to let the fan live out a dream and give him exactly what he wanted.
Of course, security had to get him off the field, but at least the fan got what he wanted.
How many people can say that they went out onto the field and got a hug from Jose Altuve?
Altuve deserves a lot of credit for making this fan’s night.
The fan was most likely arrested after this, but when you get to hug a guy like Altuve and get a selfie with him, you have to consider yourself fortunate, no matter what it takes.
The worst thing Altuve could have done was pushed him away and embarrassed him.
But he made sure the fan got what he wanted before security sent him on his way.
We can only hope now that the Astros won’t ban him from Minute Maid Park for running onto the field.
