The Golden State Warriors looked to be in serious trouble once Stephen Curry suffered a lengthy shoulder injury.
But, the Warriors are currently on a four-game win streak without Curry and are back over .500 on the season.
One reason for the recent success of the Warriors has been the play of Jordan Poole.
The 23-year-old has been phenomenal as a starter this season.
He is averaging 26.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 18 starts this season.
After signing a lucrative contract extension before the season, this was the type of production the Warriors were hoping for.
Poole has needed to take over the scoring load on a nightly basis.
As Klay Thompson continues to shake the rust off and Andrew Wiggins has missed 14 straight games.
Poole has two games of 40+ points this year, including his most recent performance.

The Warriors are now set for probably another week or two without Curry.
But, they should be able to continue their winning ways.
Their next four games are all at home, where they have the best record in the NBA.
They host the Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, and Phoenix Suns.
Continuing to stack together wins is crucial for a Warriors team that is currently in ninth place in the Western Conference.
Some of the other contributors that will be crucial for the Warriors over this stretch are Draymond Green, and Donte Divincenzo.
Green continues to be the defensive anchor for the Warriors and one of their best distributors.
While Divincenzo has bought into his role as a backup guard, who can defend the opposing team’s best player if need be.
He is also good for a few big three-pointers per game.
This Warriors team looks to be hitting its stride and will only get better once Curry and Wiggins are ready to return.
