Jordan Poole rose to stardom during his stint with the Golden State Warriors as he developed his skills under the mentorship of proven veterans such as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Poole also played a crucial role in helping the Golden State Warriors win the 2022 NBA Championship.
But the young stud derailed his career in the 2022-23 NBA season due to his altercation with Draymond Green.
As a result, Poole was traded by the Warriors to the Washington Wizards this past offseason.
Although Poole was expected to take the next big step of his career this season, he has struggled to play well.
However, Poole showed signs of his old stardom during the Wizards’ recent matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.
So much so that he had a chance to seal the game for the team during a last second shot over LeBron James.
Poole may have missed the game-winning attempt, but it hasn’t had an impact on his confidence, as revealed via Mark Medina on Twitter.
“I’d shoot it again,” Poole said.

Poole showed immense confidence in his skills as he mentioned not to hesitate even for a second to take that shot again if provided the opportunity.
Well, this level of aggressiveness was missing from Poole’s game throughout his stint with the Wizards, but it seems he is finally back to his senses.
Speaking of his performance against the Lakers, Poole finished the game with 34 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.
Poole also shot a solid 50% from the field, including 41.7% showing from the three-point line against the Lakers.
