The Green Bay Packers have plenty of talent among their pass catchers.
Now, with wide receiver Christian Watson set to return, they’ll have even more.
Quarterback Jordan Love recently had nothing but praise for one of his top targets, gushing about the way he looks after major knee surgery.
“It’s amazing. We all know the injury he had. It’s been cool. We’ve all been seeing him every day, grinding through his rehab on the side. Just to have him out there, with some pads on, helmet on, get some team reps out there, it’s amazing. We can’t wait to get him back out there,” Love said.

As much as the Packers will benefit from having Watson on the field, they also need to make sure to take things slowly with him.
He has a long history of injuries, which is perhaps the only reason they didn’t give him a long-term contract extension after his rookie deal.
The talent is definitely there, and he’s shown flashes of being a true WR1 when he’s been healthy.
The fact that the Packers gave him a short-term deal shows that they still have faith in him but also want to see what he can do with an improved supporting cast.
The Packers need to err on the side of caution, as they really need him to be available in December and January more than in October.
But if he’s as far along in his recovery as he’s shown since the start of the season, he’s going to give this already stacked offense a huge boost.
The Packers are better than their record shows, and the rest of the NFL has to be scared of their potential.
