At the start of the season, there were stories of Jonathan Kuminga being upset with his role on the Golden State Warriors.
He apparently thought he could do more and wanted to serve a bigger purpose in the team’s future.
But things have changed for Kuminga during this roller-coaster of a season and he’s now doing a lot of great things for the Warriors.
Speaking with NBC Sports, the player spoke about what he envisions for his future with the team.
“I would love to just be one of the Warriors for life – and just never change,” Kuminga said.
Even after a roller-coaster start to his NBA career, Jonathan Kuminga has reached a conclusion about his future:
The Warriors are the franchise that he wishes to remain with. Forever. (via @MontePooleNBCS)https://t.co/Ggjpi4DaAc

Back in early January, Kuminga felt that he was receiving inconsistent playing time and was growing incredibly frustrated.
The 21-year-old reportedly even considered if the Warriors was the right team for him or if he should try his luck with another franchise.
Instead of demanding a trade, Kuminga instead took it upon himself to speak with head coach Steve Kerr.
The two men had a sit-down meeting, hashed out their differences, and came to an understanding.
Shortly thereafter, Kerr put Kuminga in the starting lineup with Stephen Curry and others.
Kuminga said that he never lost faith in the team, even though he started to question his position within it.
Since Kuminga entered the starting lineup, the Warriors have gone 15-8 and he has been playing much better and much more confident basketball.
For the season, he is recording 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
This is easily his best season yet and he has made gains across the board, playing with more power, more confidence, and seemingly more happiness too.
Things have turned around and Kuminga now feels that this could be the team he sticks with for the rest of his career.
