The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t looked as solid as they were earlier in the season over the past couple of weeks.
They couldn’t keep up with the Baltimore Ravens in the most crucial matchup of the season.
Then, to add insult to injury, they have suffered injuries when it matters the most.
That’s why Jon Gruden believes they’re running on fumes right now.
Talking on Barstool Sports, the now-infamous head coach put the Steelers on blast after their latest loss.
He stated that their passing game has gone nowhere since George Pickens got hurt, and they have two rookies on the offensive line.
He believes this team may have tapped out or maxed out in Week 14.

The Steelers were in control of their destiny in the AFC North Division, but that’s no longer the case.
They’ve fared much better than anticipated this season, but they may have peaked already.
Granted, you never want to play Mike Tomlin when his back is against the wall, but staying healthy is also a big part of winning, and the Steelers are far from healthy right now.
The Steelers don’t look like a Super Bowl contender right now.
Depending on the matchup, they look like a good team that could win a playoff game.
Then again, with the Ravens’ inconsistent play at times, perhaps Lamar Jackson and Company will do them a favor by losing a game they were expected to win before the end of the season.
