The Baltimore Ravens are widely regarded as one of the best teams in the NFL at running the football.
Lamar Jackson is consistently one of the leaders in quarterback rushing yards, and their offensive line makes holes for whoever has the rock.
However, one of their top rushing options, J.K. Dobbins, is questionable heading into the 2023 season.
He’s currently on the PUP list, which coach John Harbaugh said via Jamison Hensley, “There comes a point in time when it does become a concern.”
John Harbaugh said he spoke last night with J.K. Dobbins (on PUP).
“There comes a point in time when it does become a concern. He wants to be out there and he needs to be out there. I don’t know when he’s going to come back. But I know I’m going to be really happy when he does.” pic.twitter.com/DL88e4qKFu

Dobbins missed the entire 2021 season due to an ACL tear, and he only played a limited amount of games during 2022.
While he has proven to be a valuable asset on the field, his unavailability could continue to concern the team.
Dobbins has already suffered from ankle and ACL injuries, giving him a greater propensity to re-injure himself.
This isn’t for lack of effort from Dobbins, as Harbaugh said, “He wants to be out there, and he needs to be out there.”
The Ravens are looking to make a splash in the AFC North, especially given Jackson’s massive contract extension.
They believe in his ability to lead this team and need every piece possible to contend in a difficult conference.
With any luck, Dobbins will use the next several weeks to get right, finding his way back on the field.
If not, it’ll be up to Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, and Melvin Gordon to lead this backfield.
Can they create a meaningful rushing attack without their star RB on the field?
