It’s been about a year since veteran slugger Joey Votto joined the social media world and began to win people’s hearts with his hilarious content.
The Cincinnati Reds first baseman has had a lot of fun over the past year as he continues to put out heartwarming and funny content.
But the swagger of Votto expands far beyond the field of play and even the world of social media.
In fact, the 39-year-old chose to have a little fun while he was out for a meal this week, dressing up in cool new shades and a fisherman’s hat and playing a game of chess.

Votto certainly won some brownie points with his style for his game of chess.
Perhaps that gave him an edge while playing.
But he definitely gets style points for this one, showing off his swagger and having a good time.
Votto always seems to take his great sense of humor with him wherever he goes, whether he’s playing baseball or chess.
Here, we have yet another example of him winning people over on the internet and social media.
Whether it’s chess or baseball, Votto appears to be undefeated in his social media game.
We can only hope that he ended up winning his game of chess.
One can assume he’s good at that as well.
Any Reds fan would love the opportunity to play some chess with a team legend and fan favorite such as Votto.
Perhaps when he retires from baseball, he’ll have a second career lined up..
