Joel Embiid’s health has been a huge reason for concern, and the Philadelphia 76ers have remained very quiet about how he is doing.
There are still worries that Embiid won’t be ready to play for the Sixers when the season starts next month.
Perhaps to quell those fears, the 76ers recently released photos of Embiid on social media.
Kevin O’Connor liked what he saw and said that Embiid “looks good,” but he and everyone else know that photos only tell part of the story.
Legit looks good (in photos at least) https://t.co/m3qmspPLcb

Embiid might look good, and he may appear to have worked on his physique this summer, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be prepared for the 2025-26 season.
In fact, it might make more sense for him to sit out at the start of the year, because he risks hurting himself more if he rushes back to the court.
Last year, he only played in 19 games, and it was clear he wasn’t at 100 percent for those few matches.
Embiid simply wasn’t healed, but the fear is that he never will be.
His knee problems could be just too much, and no amount of time off or conditioning may fix them.
However, these photos are certainly encouraging because they show that Embiid has been doing something in the gym and working on his physical health.
There are still many questions about him, and there will be for some time, but there’s no doubt that he’s taken this summer seriously.
Sixers fans are nervously waiting for Opening Night so they can see how Embiid looks and plays, if he suits up at all.
