So, Embiid is planning to just find his place in the paint and let everyone else revolve around him.
In many ways, that makes sense.
When he’s healthy, Embiid is nearly impossible to defend, especially when he is close to the basket.
When he is in close proximity, his size and reach almost always guarantee a bucket.
But Embiid might not ever get the chance to show off his dunking skills in the new season, because no one knows when he’ll play.
Recent reports have said that his knee is still a major problem, and there are serious concerns that he could miss the majority of the season, if not all of it.

If he returns and is truly and fully healthy, he could get to work on dunking more often.
But before he can commit to that, he needs to work on making his knee right and getting healthy.
Without that, Embiid won’t be capable of anything.
