In just one year as head coach of the Boston Celtics, Joe Mazzulla has encountered a lot and accomplished plenty too.
He has become a household name for many Boston sports fans.
He has also apparently grown close with another Boston sports hero, Bill Belichick.
The two were spotted at the Patriots’ practice facility the other day, according to a photo from Alex Barth, via ClutchPoints.
No one knows what they were talking about but fans of both the Celtics and Patriots wish they could have been a fly on the wall of that facility.

Mazzulla went through a lot during his first year leading the team.
Of course, he was thrust into that position in a shocking way, as former head coach Ime Udoka was first suspended, then officially fired, for a prohibited relationship with a female staffer.
That was quite the way to start his time as the team’s leader.
For much of the season, the Celtics were one of the best teams in the East.
They eventually ended with a 57-25 regular season record and surged into the postseason.
But they experienced their fair share of problems there and many fans critiqued some of Mazzulla’s choices and his team’s problems, especially with defense.
Perhaps that is part of what he and Belichick spoke of.
The Celtics made some substantial changes in the offseason, including saying goodbye to Marcus Smart and hello to Kristaps Porzingis.
And the team’s front office says it still has full faith in Mazzulla and his plans.
Therefore, the upcoming season could be even more consequential for the young coach.
