The Cincinnati Bengals are slated to be in a couple of contract disputes this offseason.
One of them will be with superstar wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who is likely looking for a massive payday.
Franchise quarterback Joe Burrow spoke recently about Chase’s upcoming contract negotiation.
“I don’t know what more he could show and do to prove himself. We have several guys like that, who have stepped up for us, and deserve to be paid – deserve to be paid what they’re worth,” Burrow told ESPN (via insider Albert Breer).

The multi-time Pro-Bowler is not wrong about anything that he just said.
Cincinnati’s front office faces a significant offseason as they aim to secure a couple of key stars, including Chase.
The four-time Pro-Bowler is still just 24 years of age and has his whole career ahead of him.
He was the league’s triple-crown winner this season, leading in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708), and receiving touchdowns (17).
In his first four seasons, he has recorded 5,425 yards and 46 touchdowns on 395 receptions.
The Bengals absolutely need to pay him.
They also have to focus on players such as star edge-rusher Trey Hendrickson and multi-time 1,000-yard receiver Tee Higgins.
Hendrickson is reportedly looking for a contract extension after turning in another Pro Bowl season, while Higgins was franchise-tagged last offseason.
It is hard to say if the Bengals can pay all three players what they want, but they are going to have to try if they want to contend for a Super Bowl next year.
