The Cincinnati Bengals have several issues to address in the offseason.
Despite their subpar offensive line, Joe Burrow has still anchored one of the best – if not the best – passing games in the league.
Their defense, however, has made it so that not even scoring 30 points per game is enough to win.
That’s why the team might have different priorities in mind.
Burrow has made it loud and clear that he wants Tee Higgins to be brought back.
Even if the team has other areas of need, his message to the front office was loud and clear: “Tee is a need” (via Paul Dehner Jr.).

Burrow has been emphatic in his desire to keep the talented wideout in town for the long run.
He claimed he would do whatever it took to ensure that was the case.
Higgins has been in a back-and-forth with the organization since last season.
The Bengals placed him under the franchise tag, and he requested a trade after reportedly not even being offered a contract extension.
He also claimed that he would prefer to stay in Cincinnati and has not ruled out reaching an agreement.
Higgins is a very good player who might find terrific value in free agency.
The Bengals still need to break the bank to pay Ja’Marr Chase, and with the current state of the defense and offensive line, it might take a lot of thinking outside the box to make numbers work to keep Higgins as well.
