Two of the best teams in the Western Conference battled it out on Tuesday night as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-112.
This was a big win for the Nuggets, as it showed that they are capable of taking down their toughest competition in the West.
On Wednesday morning’s “First Take,” JJ Redick said that the Nuggets are looking like champions again.
“The Denver Nuggets right now, to me, are in championship form,” Redick said.

It’s hard to argue with Redick, especially after watching Tuesday night’s game.
Nikola Jokic once again scored a double-double with 35 points and 16 rebounds.
But multiple other players helped the team score the victory, including Michael Porter Jr., who posted 26 points.
The Nuggets have a deep roster, the drive to win, and now experience in the postseason.
There are a number of reasons why many people are betting on them to win their second championship this year.
Of course, just because they were able to beat the Timberwolves on Tuesday doesn’t mean they can simply stroll to another title, and there will definitely be some tough competition.
Sunday night was a prime example of that, as the Dallas Mavericks were able to score a huge victory over Denver thanks to an amazing buzzer-beater from Kyrie Irving.
Every season, there are teams that surprise and upset during the playoffs.
Even though the odds are in their favor, will the Nuggets be overcome by a team lower in the standings?
It seems unlikely right now but the Nuggets will have to keep playing at a championship level if they want to go all the way.
The rest of the league knows what Denver is capable of and they are going to fight hard to bring them down.
