After years of coming close, the Denver Nuggets are now in their first NBA Finals.
They have a very good chance of winning the championship this year, which would give them the respect of fans all over the league.
Even if they don’t win the Finals, this powerful team is here to stay, according to JJ Redick.
“Regardless of what happens in this series, we are entering a phase where the Denver Nuggets will be the favorites in the Western Conference going forward for the foreseeable future,” Redick said on Monday morning.
“There’s a long runway in Denver for this team to contend for titles. Ultimately, every team in the West will have to go through Denver,” he added.

Redick’s comments came during a segment on First Take about the Phoenix Suns hiring Frank Vogel as their new head coach.
The Suns are a team that is desperate to come together quickly, knowing they only have a small window to find success in the West.
The same is true for the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, and others.
Other teams, such as the Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder, Sacramento Kings, and Utah Jazz are still too young and finding the missing pieces they need.
As for the Nuggets, their core players are close-knit, accomplished, and ready to play together for a very long time.
That is why Redick predicts they could sit atop the West for many seasons.
The Nuggets have been on the verge of true greatness for years now.
They are finally delivering to their fans what they have promised for so long.
How long will this last?
