Many people have talked about the new statue celebrating Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade.
Most reviews about the statue have been negative but not many current Heat players have given their opinions about it.
But speaking to Wes Goldberg, via NBACentral, Jimmy Butler opened up about what he feels.
He said he is very proud of Wade for getting the statue and loves what he has done for the city.
He also added, “I’m pretty sure he won’t be the last one to get one,” suggesting other Heat players will receive statues in their honor too.
Perhaps Butler will be one of them.

When the Heat were choosing who should be the first player to have a statue, it made total sense to select Wade.
The impact he had on the team, the city, and the league was enormous and he is still considered one of the greatest guards to ever play in the NBA.
But the Heat have no intention of stopping after a single statue.
Pat Riley said other stars will get their own statues in the future, but he hasn’t definitively said who will be chosen.
Butler has a chance of earning one, although there are many questions about his future in Miami.
There have been reports of him unhappy with the Heat because they don’t see eye-to-eye with him about an upcoming contract extension.
Is there a chance this could be his final season playing in Miami?
Over the first three games of the season, Butler has averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists and the Heat are currently 2-1.
No matter how well the team does, questions about Butler and his commitment will remain.
