The Miami Heat continue their impressive postseason run.
Every single time people think they’re about to hit a wall and struggle against a seemingly better team, Erik Spoelstra’s team proves the world wrong with their gritty character and determination.
They took the TD Garden by storm as the No. 8 seed despite being 8-point underdogs ahead of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and they made a huge statement in hostile territory.
That may have been a bit of a surprise for most bettors, fans, and even analysts, but not for Heat star Jimmy Butler, who recently claimed he always had faith in his team’s ability to get the job done.

Notably, the Heat also took the Celtics down at this stage when these teams squared off in the bubble, but both squads have gone through a bit of an overhaul ever since.
Spoelstra continues to establish himself as one of the best coaches in the league, especially in terms of making minor tweaks and adjustments in the playoffs, completely outcoaching the younger Joe Mazzulla in the first game of the series.
Needless to say, the Celtics have more than enough resources and firepower to come back from this deficit and steal homecourt advantage right back from the Heat.
However, they cannot afford to watch the Heat go on such big runs without not even calling a timeout or making any sort of adjustments, especially against a savvy veteran coach and one of the best playoff performers we’ve seen in years.
