Jimmy Butler has become the heart and soul of the Miami Heat.
He’s the true embodiment of Heat Culture, a guy that will play hard and put the team in a position to win regardless of the rival or of the scoreboard.
More than that, he’s the kind of player who always delivers in the playoffs, taking his game up a notch when the season is on the line.
However, as much as people like to call him “Playoff Jimmy” when he enters this stage, Butler recently claimed that he’s just not like that, adding that he’s “just hooping.”
Jimmy Butler on “playoff Jimmy”:
"It's not a thing. It's not. I just be hooping." ?️

Even so, Butler has repeatedly stated that he and the rest of the team don’t care that much about the regular season.
Even when things got tough, he claimed that he loved their chances in a seven-game series against anybody else in the league, and he’s putting his money where his mouth is.
Butler put up a whopping 56 points in a comeback win vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, and the eight-seed Heat are just one win away from pulling off an epic upset over the team with the best record in the league.
And while some might argue that the Bucks didn’t have Giannis Antetokounmpo for more than half of the series, Butler has mostly been a one-man show for Erik Spoelstra’s team through these four games, so we should give credit where it’s due.
He might not think Playoff Jimmy is a thing, but he can’t fool us; it most definitely is.
