For years, Jimmy Butler was the biggest star on his teams and was forced to lead them and carry a huge weight.
Now, he is the second option for the Golden State Warriors and feels quite comfortable with that role.
Speaking to the press, Butler opened up about being Robin to Steph Curry’s Batman.
“You got a really good chance when 30 aka Batman is on the floor. Life is good,” Butler said of Curry.

Butler had lost all joy in basketball during his final stretch with the Miami Heat, but the joy has returned with Golden State.
That is partly because he is playing alongside Curry, one of the greatest stars in NBA history.
Curry is not just a terrific shooter, probably the best the league has ever seen, but he’s a talented leader and floor general.
The Warriors run their entire offense through him, and Butler is completely comfortable with that.
He looks and plays like a man who has found a second lease on life, and there is happiness in his performances.
He can trust Curry to make the right moves, and Butler feels like he’s finally part of a fully functioning team for the first time in years.
Curry has the smarts, the skills, and the experience, but he also has something that Butler does not: a championship ring.
Butler believes he has a chance of earning one, and it’ll require that he consistently supports Curry and continues to be the team’s Robin.
Life with the Warriors is good right now, but it would be even better if Butler becomes a champion.
