The Miami Heat have a knack for finding talented players that go under the radar of many NBA teams.
A perfect example of this was how they polished Max Strus into a legitimately key piece for their 2023 NBA Finals run.
But the Heat didn’t keep Strus for the upcoming season as he signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a four-year, $62 million deal.
Considering Strus earned a hefty contract, he’s enjoying life, but his former teammate Jimmy Butler hilariously called him out, via Brady Hawk on Twitter.

“All that fun just to lose to us.” 🤣 pic.twitter.com/F83VrFNRgG

Butler left the comment below Strus’ recent post on Instagram.
The Heat superstar joked about how Strus is making all that effort only to lose him during the regular season and if they possibly face off in the postseason.
The Cavaliers are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference heading into the 2023-24 season.
However, the Heat undoubtedly have the benefit of the doubt over the Cavs.
After all, the organization has advanced to two NBA Finals over the last four seasons.
As for Butler’s comments, he’s known to have a hilarious personality and loves to joke about his teammates, whether current or former.
Now, it will be upon Strus to prove his former leader wrong when the two sides face off.
Fans will have to wait for the much-anticipated matchup.
