The New York Jets are a young team, and as such, chances are that most of their players grew up idolizing Aaron Rodgers or, at the very least, watching him play.
So, now that he has officially joined the team, some of their young stars have gotten to meet the legend himself.
That includes star LB Quincy Williams, who recently admitted that he was “star-struck” being around him, according to Rich Cimini.

Notably, some were concerned about how Rodgers’ presence could affect the Jets’ young core of players.
He wasn’t exactly patient or publicly supportive of his younger teammates when he was with the Green Bay Packers, openly calling them out more than once.
Maybe, that’s just some tough love to bring the best out of them, and we also have to admit that the Jets’ young core is way more talented and ahead of schedule in comparison to the Packers’.
The Jets will hope that Rodgers takes a somewhat different approach this time around, working more as a mentor and trying to uplift them.
They’ve put together one of the most impressive sets of young talents in the league.
And even though Rodgers won’t be around for long — unless he decides to pull off a Tom Brady — they have a chance to build a special partnership for the next couple of years at least.
So, Williams and his teammates better get used to being around the future Hall of Famer, as they have a job to do in 2023.
