The New York Jets have legitimate Super Bowl hopes for the first time in decades after the arrival of future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
They have what looks to be a talented roster on both sides of the football, and other than Rodgers, much of that talent is young.
But by no means are the Jets done with finalizing their roster.
Insider Rich Cimini tweeted a few things they still should get done to solidify their chances of winning the world championship this coming season.
much be benefitted last year from a full camp.
• Re-work Aaron Rodgers contract. Would provide cap certainty.
• Sign draft picks Will McDonald and Joe Tippmann.
* Reconsider Hard Knocks. America would enjoy the Jets more than those other teams. Embrace the spotlight.

First on the list is to restructure Rodgers’ contract in order to give New York some certainty and possibly some flexibility in terms of the salary cap.
Then comes the need to sign their top two draft picks — Will McDonald IV and Joe Tippmann.
McDonald, a pass rusher from Iowa State University, may not crack the Jets’ rotation immediately, but they’re hoping he will eventually develop into a useful defender.
Tippmann, a center from the University of Wisconsin, may become a starter once the season starts, and therefore it would be very helpful to get him signed so he could participate in some offseason workouts with his new teammates.
The Jets have been considered a candidate for the HBO series “Hard Knocks,” which follows an NFL team throughout training camp, but head coach Robert Saleh said recently he’s not interested.
The team will have an uphill climb in order to get to the big game simply because of the immense depth of talent across the AFC, but in Rodgers, they have something most teams do not — a veteran signal-caller who has won a world championship before.
