Through the first five weeks of the season, the New York Jets remained the only winless team in the National Football League.
Clearly, Aaron Rodgers and Robert Saleh weren’t the problem in New York, or at least not the only problems.
And even though they hired a defensive-minded head coach in Aaron Glenn, their once-great defense has struggled mightily this season.
As a matter of fact, they had yet to force a single turnover this season.
That’s why the fans must be thrilled to know that they’ve finally flipped the field once, logging a fumble recovery in London against the Denver Broncos:
The #Jets just finally forced their first turnover of the season.

Unfortunately, they failed to make the most of that turnover, only turning it into a field goal.
More worryingly, they logged a grand total of 32 yards of offense in the first half.
The Jets are officially entering ‘desperation’ territory.
They showed so by resorting to a fake punt late in the first half on fourth and one.
Still, it seems like they’ve already lost faith in Justin Fields and the passing game, as they kept running the ball under one minute and with just one timeout left instead of trying to sling the football down the field.
It looks like this will be another long season for the Jets and their fans.
And if their defense, which was supposed to do all the heavy lifting, fails to give their offense favorable field position, things don’t look good at all for Glenn in his first year in charge of a team.
