The New York Jets need to bounce back on Sunday, and they know it.
That’s why the players are taking this game as a postseason contest.
As such, there’s no better way to get in the mood than by rocking a Michael Jordan shirt.
That’s what defensive star Quinnen Williams did as he entered MetLife Stadium for the tilt vs. the Tennessee Titans (via Jets Videos).

Needless to say, Williams will need to draw some inspiration from the legendary shooting guard, as the defense was manhandled and inefficient in the season opener.
It’s not that they couldn’t afford to lose to the San Francisco 49ers, one of the most talented and well-coached teams in the league, but the fact that they didn’t seem to be anywhere close to the same tier as them was worrisome.
There used to be no doubts about the Jets’ defense.
All the talk was centered around whether Aaron Rodgers still had it or if their revamped offensive line was going to be able to hold up.
Robert Saleh vowed to fix what went wrong in their heartbreaking loss to the Niners.
They will now face a young quarterback who’s coming off a rather forgettable outing vs. the Chicago Bears.
The Jets should be able to get to him multiple times and force him to make mistakes and put the ball in harm’s way.
The defense needs to step up, just like Jordan and the Bulls did back in the day.
