The New York Jets put a lot of stock into Zach Wilson, and it obviously didn’t pan out.
The BYU product impressed during his Pro Day, and some of his numbers in college made scouts think that he could be a superstar in the league, yet that didn’t happen.
Wilson hasn’t had success in the NFL, and he pretty much lost his starting job in less than two years.
But it seems like the Jets organization still hasn’t given up on him.
According to head coach Robert Saleh, he’s going to be their QB2 next season, and he still believes that he could turn out to be a good player in the NFL.

It’s evident that Wilson’s teammates don’t trust him anymore.
They actively recruited Aaron Rodgers to join the team, and that’s gotta hurt.
Wilson also claimed that he was going to make any veteran QB’s life hell in practice if the Jets decided to go that way, so he now has to put his money where his mouth is.
But then again, who knows?
Maybe getting to learn the ropes of the game behind a legend like Rodgers is just what he needs to finally come together and step up as the future star some believed he could be.
Otherwise, it seems like his days in the league will be over sooner rather than later, and he could go down as one of the greatest NFL Draft busts this game has ever seen.
