The big marquee matchup coming up in Week 5 of the NFL season will come on Sunday Night Football when the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys visit the undefeated San Francisco 49ers.
The 49ers look like the best team in football right now, as they have won each of their four games by at least a touchdown and three of them by at least 18 points, and they have what many consider the most complete roster in the league.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, looked like they may be the best team in the NFL themselves until nearly two weeks ago when star cornerback Trevon Diggs was lost for the year due to a torn ACL before an embarrassing loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Even Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said San Francisco is the favorite to win the Super Bowl, although he did add that they would first have to get past his team, per B/R Gridiron.

The Niners had the league’s best defense last season, and although there may be a small hole or two in it this year, it is continuing to look savage.
Meanwhile, quarterback Brock Purdy, the last player chosen in the 2022 NFL Draft, is looking like the real deal, as he’s leading everyone in both passer rating and QBR.
Running back Christian McCaffrey is leading the way for the Niners with 459 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns on the season, both of which lead the NFL.
After losing to Arizona in Week 3, Dallas looked to be back on track when they blew out the New England Patriots, 38-3, on Sunday, and they will be eager to avenge last season’s playoff loss to the 49ers.
