The New York Jets just got a very emotional win, perhaps the biggest in the Robert Saleh era.
They got one out of the mud, forcing turnovers, not pressing or trying to do too much, and just making the most of every single chance they had to put up points on the scoreboard.
That’s why Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wanted to give them their flowers ahead of next Sunday’s matchup, praising them for their resiliency and letting it be known that they’re in for a very difficult game next weekend (via Todd Archer).
Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan he was “sick for everybody,” when he saw Aaron Rodgers’ injury Monday, but complimented the Jets for winning. “That shows the type of team they got. And they’re loaded across the board. This will be a tough game one way or the other.”

He also claimed that everybody within the Cowboys organization was ‘sick’ after finding out about Aaron Rodgers’ season-ending injury.
Needless to say, this clash is set to be less attractive now.
The Cowboys opened up as three-point home favorites, and that number has gone all the way up to seven and a half.
The Jets have an elite defense and could put Dak Prescott in a tough spot.
They just forced four turnovers against the Buffalo Bills, and Prescott has struggled to take care of the football more often than not, especially as of late.
The Cowboys are fresh off thrashing the New York Giants, and their defense could have another field day against a subpar offensive line.
The Jets struggled to keep their quarterbacks safe in the preseason, and Zach Wilson will likely be scrambling a lot on Sunday, especially with Defensive Player of the Year candidate Micah Parsons ready to wreak havoc.
