Deion Sanders isn’t just one of the greatest players in NFL history; he’s also one of the best athletes of all time, period.
The former MLB and NFL standout has now transitioned to a different side of sports, serving as the Head Coach for the University of Colorado after his very impressive stint with Jackson State University.
Moreover, ‘Coach Prime’ has become a sensation as of late, helping turn around an ever-struggling football program, and turning the Buffaloes into a must-watch team week in and week out.
The Sanders-mania made the matchup between Colorado State and Colorado one of the biggest games on Saturday’s slate, with countless celebrities talking about the outcome.
That’s why Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admitted that Sanders could have a future as an NFL coach.
When asked about it, he talked about how Coach Prime influences people, which is obviously a big part of being a coach in the league (Via Jon Machota).
Jerry Jones said he watched every play of Colorado’s win over Colorado State last night. He said Deion Sanders is “a hell of a coach.”

However, he also cut his answer short, stating that it could lead to speculation and that he just didn’t want to go there.
Sanders has been a good coach, but he’s been an even better motivator.
He’s got his players to buy in, and they would all run through a brick wall for him, and that’s remarkable.
But there’s a big difference in becoming an NFL coach — assuming he even wants to.
For now, he might be focused on next week’s clash vs. the Oregon Ducks, and not on a future coaching on Sundays.
