The Dallas Cowboys showed on Sunday what a Super Bowl contender should do to a bad team.
The Cowboys hosted the New York Giants and dominated them to a score of 49-17.
It was the Cowboys’ second win over the Giants this year.
Their aggregate score against New York is 89-17.
Dallas was able to inflict such dominance due to a well-rounded performance.
One unit that deserves to be talked about more is the Cowboys defense.
Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones was asked if his team has the best defense in the NFL.
According to Jon Machota, Jones said, “I would say this, I’m glad we have this defense. I wouldn’t trade this defense for any other in the league.”

Of course, Jones would speak glowingly of his defense.
Even though he avoided calling them the best defense in the NFL.
Jones must want his defense to keep a chip on their shoulder and find ways to slow down some of the best offenses in football.
It is easy to slow down a porous Giants offense, but can they do the same to the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, or Miami Dolphins?
Over the final month of the season, the Cowboys get a chance to show how great their defense can be.
Dallas has been getting elite production from their offense over the past few weeks.
Everything seems to be coming together nicely for them.
Even though the NFL has tilted more to the offensive side, having a strong defense is still key to winning the Super Bowl.
