For the second straight season, the Denver Broncos are struggling mightily, and it has become clear that there is no way they will be able to compete for the Super Bowl, or possibly even a playoff spot, as presently constituted.
As a result, there have been lots of trade rumors surrounding them, and several players’ names have come up, including even quarterback Russell Wilson.
One of those players, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, has been linked to multiple teams that could use improved wideout depth, and he said, per DNVR Broncos, that those rumors don’t matter to him.

Last season, Jeudy had a strong campaign with 972 receiving yards and six touchdowns, but so far this season, his production has dropped, as he has only 222 yards and zero touchdowns through six games.
In last Thursday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, he caught only three passes for 14 yards as the Broncos were only able to muster eight points.
It may be time for them to hit the proverbial reset button — the whole reason to trade for a future Hall of Famer such as Wilson, especially when a team gives up lots of capital for him as the Broncos did, is to win the Super Bowl, and they’re miles and miles away from that level of play.
A growing number of pundits and fans feel like trading for Wilson to begin with was a big mistake, especially since Denver gave him a huge contract extension shortly after he arrived in the Mile High City.
