Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics isn’t known for being the most talkative NBA player but he can apparently make a pretty good joke.
Tatum sat down with comedian Kevin Hart, via Basketball on X and NBACentral, and couldn’t help himself from poking fun at Hart’s small stature.
He brought a special gift for Hart: a Celtics jersey.
However, it happened to be his young son’s jersey, clearly made for a child.
Yet, Hart fit into it just fine and even begrudgingly admitted that it looked good on him.

Hart is one of the many celebrities who love the NBA.
He has been spotted at numerous games and has fostered close friendships with a few of the biggest stars in the league.
Despite his relatively small size, he is a mainstay at many games, sitting courtside and just feet away from the action.
This video is a rare, special moment that allows Tatum to show off a bit more of his personality.
The young player is always focused on the game and doesn’t allow much time to really cut loose or give comments about anything other than basketball.
That is partly because he has become a central leader for the Celtics over the last few seasons.
He knows that a lot is riding on his shoulders and he takes his role within the team very seriously.
Tatum has been getting better and better and averaged 30.1 points and 8.8 rebounds last season.
Some people think he is on the verge of having an MVP season.
Could 2023-24 be the year that Tatum not only wins his first MVP trophy but his Celtics return to the Finals and win it all?
If that’s the case, Hart will be wearing his ultra-small Celtics jersey with pride.
